Xiaomi Watch S1 Launched in China with 12-Day Battery Life, Sapphire Crystal Dial

Xiaomi Watch S1, which has been rumored for a long time, has finally been announced in China. The device is currently only available in China. The company is currently selling the Mi Watch Revolve and Mi Watch Revolve Active, and the Xiaomi Watch S1 was launched alongside the Xiaomi 12 series in China today. The company also announced the MiUI 13 platform that will run on its smartphones, with a tablet version called the MiUI Pad. The software should soon roll out to other devices as well.

Xiaomi Watch S1: specifications and features

In terms of design, the Xiaomi Watch S1 is very similar to the Mi Watch Revolve, although it also resembles Fossil’s Android smartwatch. The device has a round dial with a metallic finish and two crowns on one side of the device. It also has a sapphire crystal on top.

It also has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and supports 117 sports modes, according to the company. It’s unclear which sports and exercises the Watch S1 will support at the moment, but the Mi Watch Revolve does have a decent collection. However, the question is whether the tracking in these modes is accurate.

In addition, Xiaomi Watch S1 will also support GPS, which will allow users to track their movements without carrying the phone outside. The company also said that the Watch S1 has 24×7 health management features and uses its sensors to monitor various vital signs.

In addition, Xiaomi Watch S1 is also quite waterproof with 5ATM water resistance for those who want to swim. The company said the battery will last up to 12 days on each charge and will support wireless charging with Qi wireless charging technology.

The Watch S1 doesn’t look like an update to the Mi Watch Revolve. Instead, the device looks more like a premium smartwatch from Xiaomi.

Price and availability of Xiaomi Watch S1

Xiaomi Watch S1 will be priced at 1,099 yuan in China, with sales starting from December 31st.
