OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus Buds Z successor in the form of the OnePlus Buds Z2 in the US and European markets. These new TWS headphones from OnePlus offer Active Noise Canceling (ANC) support and come with 11mm bass-tuned drivers.

The OnePlus Buds Z2 is available in Obsidian Black and Pearl White. According to OnePlus, the previous color variant will arrive next year. In terms of price, the OnePlus Buds Z2 retails for $99 in the US and €99 in Europe.

As mentioned above, the new OnePlus Buds Z2 looks almost identical to the original OnePlus Buds Z that debuted last year. The OnePlus Buds Z2 features 11mm dynamic drivers that are slightly larger than the original OnePlus Buds Z 10mm driver.
The main benefit of this new OnePlus offering is that the OnePlus Buds Z2 now offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support. The earbuds also support mono mode and transparency mode. In terms of connectivity, the Buds Z2 supports Bluetooth v5.2.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 packs a 40mAh battery that provides up to 5 hours of play time with ANC on and 7 hours with ANC off. With the charging case, the Buds Z2 provides a battery life of 38 hours. The headphone case has a USB Type-C port. With 10 minutes of charging, the Buds Z2 can provide up to 5 hours of music playback.
Other key features that the OnePlus Buds Z2 offers include wear detection, Dolby Atmos support, an IP55 rating for headphones, and Google Fast Pair support. The charging case has an IPX4 waterproof rating.
