iQOO will soon release a new premium smartphone in China. The company has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 6 will debut in China on April 13. The launch event is scheduled two days after the launch of the Vivo X Fold in China. The Neo 6 will be the successor to the Neo 5 series launched last year.

iQOO Neo 6 design announced
iQOO has released a new teaser confirming the design of the Neo 6. The smartphone will debut on April 13 in the Chinese market. The design teaser confirms some key details of the device. First, the phone will have a vegan leather finish on the back. It will come in an orange shade. We can expect iQOO to release a device with a glass back as well. According to rumors, the phone will go on sale in three colors – black, blue and orange.
The phone is equipped with a rectangular camera block on the rear panel. It has a triple camera. The text on the camera module confirms that the camera will support optical image stabilization (OIS).
The device is expected to come with a 50-megapixel main camera. It will be accompanied by a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom. Other details of the device have leaked online. The phone is expected to feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There will be support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. There will be up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will pack a 4,700mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. It will ship with Android 12 out of the box and have an Origin OS Ocean layer on top.
