Poco last week launched the Poco M4 Pro 5G, which went on sale for the first time yesterday. Now, the brand has confirmed that it will release a 4G-enabled variant of the same device. The Poco M4 Pro 4G will launch on February 28 in Europe alongside the Poco X4 Pro 5G. Poco confirmed the news through their social media accounts.
Poco hasn’t officially confirmed any of the specs, but a 4G variant has previously been spotted on various certification websites in recent weeks, revealing the device’s main specs. And it looks like the M4 Pro 4G will be an upgraded version of the Redmi Note 11S.
Specifications and features of Poco M4 Pro 4G
If the Poco M4 Pro 4G is indeed an upgraded version of the Note 11S, it could come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support. The M4 Pro will be powered by the Mediatek Helio G96 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Redmi Note 11S comes with a 108MP camera, but it’s not clear if Poco will offer the same camera spec for the M4 Pro 4G. Note 11S is equipped with four rear cameras and LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 108MP camera, which is accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The phone will likely come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will ship with Android 11 out of the box. We can expect Poco to release a phone with MIUI MIUI 13 for Poco out of the box.
Other specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a stereo speaker setup, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, a Type-C charging port, and a 3.5mm Hi-Res audio jack.
