Realme has launched its new flagship GT series smartphones. The company has unveiled the Realme GT 2 series in China. It is expected that the devices will appear in other international markets in the near future. Realme has released two devices from this series: GT 2 and GT 2 Pro. The new flagship smartphones from Realme come with a Snapdragon 8-series chipset under the hood. They are equipped with a triple camera on the back. Realme GT 2 series price
Realme has launched the GT 2 in China with a starting price of 2599 yuan. For the price, users get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also comes in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants, priced at 2,799 Yuan and 3,099 Yuan.
The GT 2 Pro comes with the four storage options mentioned above. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at 3699 Yuan, while the 8 + 256GB model is priced at 3999 Yuan. It also comes in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants, priced at 4299 Yuan and 4799 Yuan. It is available in Paper Green, Paper White, Titanium Blue and Steel Black.
Specifications and Features
Starting with the GT 2 Pro, the phone features a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO display with 120Hz refresh rate support. In the upper left corner of the screen, there is a hole punch for the 32 MP front camera. On the back of the phone, there is a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 50MP 150-degree ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP microscope camera.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and comes with a 5000mAh battery. It supports 65W fast wired charging via USB Type-C. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner and face recognition. It boots Android 12 out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 layer on top.
The standard GT 2, on the other hand, has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It comes with a Snapdragon 888 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. Under the hood is a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Inside the hole punch hole, the phone has a 16 MP front camera.
On the back is a triple-camera setup: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The phone also boots out of the box and runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12, is 8.6mm thick and weighs around 199 grams.
