Last year, Tecno launched its first 5G smartphone Tecno Pova 5G in Nigeria. The company has announced the launch of Tecno Pova 5G for the Asian market since the last few days. Today, the brand has officially confirmed the release schedule for the Pova 5G. According to information provided by Tecno, Tecno Pova 5G will be launched next week. Tecno Pova 5G features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ 1080 x 2460 pixel IPS LCD display. The display panel has a center cutout, a pixel density of 480 PPI, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood of the device is an octa-core 6 nm Dimensity 900 processor. The smartphone is equipped with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory.
In addition, the device also has 3GB virtual RAM support for better multitasking. It runs Android 11 out of the box with the company’s proprietary HiOS. In terms of optics, the Pova 5G features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary camera, and an AI lens.
On the front side, the device boasts a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The phone is powered by a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. For security, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button. The dimensions of the device are 172.82 x 78.24 x 9.07 mm.
