Battlegrounds Mobile India Update Adds Payload Mode 2.0, Virus Infection Mode and More to the Game

Crafton brought PUBG Mobile back to India in the form of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Widely known as BGMI, the battle royale has been reintroduced with some minor tweaks to create a healthy gaming environment. Since its release, BGMI has received a huge response. The official listing of the Google Play Store shows that there have been over 5 million downloads since the launch of the game in India. The developers are releasing new updates, some of which are only for Indian players. The latest update to Battlegrounds Mobile India introduces PayLoad 2.0 which was announced last month. Let’s take a look at the new BGMI update released for players on Android and iOS devices.

Battlegrounds Mobile India PayLoad 2.0 update

Krafton has released a new BGMI update for players on Android and iOS. The new update introduces new modes and features. Krafton previously confirmed the arrival of the new Payload 2.0 mode last month. The new update makes the new mode available on the Evoground tab in BGMI in the left corner.

Payload 2.0 introduces new weapons such as armored car, helicopter, etc., which have a “super weapon”to help players defeat opponents during a match.

The new BGMI update also introduced a new virus infection mode. This match consists of three different rounds in which players need to kill zombies and other players in order to win the match. Zombies can pick up boosters or infect people to become a more powerful zombie king in the third level.

The new update follows the previous October update which introduced many new modes and maps such as Metro Royale, Vikendi, Runic Power and Survive Till Dawn. Krafton also introduced a special Diwali gaming event for players. They can participate in the event by completing missions and collecting lamps, which can then be exchanged for in-game rewards. These include Classic Crate Coupon Scraps, 100 AG, BP Crates, and the Cool Cat Pack.
