After much speculation, Indian pricing for the new PlayStation Plus has been confirmed. Currently, it looks like India will get all 3 levels of service – Essential, Extra and Deluxe. Essential is the PlayStation Plus version that currently exists and offers players access to online multiplayer as well as 2 PS4 games and one PS5 game each month.

- PS Plus Extra – 1 month – Rs 749 / 3 months – Rs 1,999 / 12 months – Rs 4,999
- PS Plus Deluxe – 1 month – Rs 849 / 3 months – Rs 2299 / 12 months – Rs 5749
According to recent reports, PlayStation may also allow users to easily upgrade to higher tiers by paying the difference in total with the time left in the subscription.
New PlayStation Plus India Pricing Officially Confirmed
PS Plus Extra will provide players with classic titles for hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games through a catalog of games that will feature major titles from both in-house and third-party developers. PS Plus Deluxe will give you all the benefits of Essential and Extra plus access to iconic titles from the past PS2, original PlayStation and PSP eras through the Classics Catalog.
In addition, Deluxe will also offer players access to trial games, allowing players to try games before purchasing them. Players who signed up after the service change will still have access to the PS Plus benefits available today.
The service is essentially similar to Xbox Game Pass, however, Microsoft’s service has an advantage over PS Plus in one aspect. Game Pass gets its own day one releases, which as a concept isn’t too exciting for SIE CEO Jim Ryan as he thinks it will hurt the success of their games.
The PS5 received a new addition just recently, as did the Xbox Series X and S, but the latter was available much less frequently than the Sony console in India.
