Samsung Galaxy S22 Series colors and RAM options coming hours before launch

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will launch globally today. The company will release three flagship devices namely Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra. Three Samsung smartphones are expected to arrive soon. Samsung is expected to announce the launch date for the Galaxy S22 series after the event.

Rumors that Samsung will launch the S22 series in March have surfaced before. A new leak by whistleblower Ishan Agarwal has revealed the RAM, storage and color options of all three S22 smartphones. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of the Samsung Galaxy S22.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Launch Details

Samsung may launch the Galaxy S22 series on March 11, according to a new leak that also reveals RAM and storage options. The base models of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will come with two storage options, Agarwal said.

Both devices will have 8GB of RAM as standard and come with 128GB and 256GB storage options. The phones will come in three colors – black, white and green.

The leaker also revealed the S22 Ultra’s RAM and storage options. According to Agarwal, the phone will be released with two storage options. The device will have 12GB of RAM as standard and will come with 256GB and 512GB of internal storage. It will only launch in Phantom Black and White.

Agarwal previously revealed that the phone will ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. This will be different from the previous generation models that came with an Exynos chipset. Samsung has not yet officially confirmed the details. However, the wait won’t be long as the event is scheduled for 8:30 pm EST.

Other device details have also been leaked in the past. All three S22 series phones will run OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. S22 Ultra will receive a major redesign and will resemble the Note series. There is a dedicated slot for the S Pen. The phone also features a quad-camera setup on the back with a 108MP primary camera.

The Vanilla S22 and S22+ have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera sensor. The two devices will have 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch Full HD+ displays.
