Dopamine jailbreak lead developer Lars Fröder (@opa334dev) released a newer version of the Dopamine v2 jailbreak early Thursday morning, which officially brings the latest version up to 2.0.9.

Citing an announcement first shared via X (formerly Twitter), Dopamine v2.0.9 introduces important security fixes to the jailbreak that are apparently so important that Fröder no longer recommends anyone to use any older version of the jailbreak.
In addition to the security fix, it’s worth noting that Dopamine v2.0.9 addresses other problems as well. The full change log for this release is as follows:
If you’re an existing Dopamine jailbreak user, whether it was version 2.0.8 or something much older, then you’re going to want to update at your earliest convenience to plug up the security hole that could leave you at risk.
Existing users have the option to update using the app’s own built-in OTA updating mechanism, after which a userspace reboot will occur:

New or prospective users should also start off by using Dopamine v2.0.9 or later, as it’s important to ensure that you have the latest bug fixes and improvements (in addition to security patches) when hacking your device.
