Last month, Xiaomi unveiled the latest version of its own Android skin, MIUI 13, in China. Now, the company seems to be getting ready to announce the global version of MIUI 13. The teaser was posted via the official MIUI Twitter account, and the same was posted by Xiaomi Global Vice President Manu Kumar Jain. Take a look at the teaser below
The teaser reads “The time has come”but does not reveal an announcement date. However, we can expect the company to announce it along with the Redmi Note 11 series, which is coming to global markets on January 26th.
For those who don’t know, MIUI 13 brings new widgets, new Mi Sans font, document watermark, sidebar, face verification protection, telecom fraud protection, Family Guard and more. However, out of all these features, some features may not make it to the Global ROM. Xiaomi has already confirmed the global rollout schedule for MIUI 13 across multiple devices. Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro, Mi 11X, Xiaomi Pad 5, Redmi 10, Redmi 10 Prime, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE, Redmi Note 8 (2021), Xiaomi 11T Pro Xiaomi 11T, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Lite, Redmi Note 10 JE are confirmed to start receiving MIUI 13 global update starting from Q1 2022.
According to a new report, Xiaomi has recently implemented Material You UI in MIUI 13 China Beta builds. Thus, we can expect the same to be presented in MIUI 13 Global ROM as well.
