Google I/O 2023 will take place on May 10th. Artificial intelligence should be a big part of this.
Every year, this is an important event that both developers and all users of the Google ecosystem, and the entire technology industry as a whole, look forward to. The Google I/O 2023 release finally has an official date. This time it will be May 10, with a “limited”physical presence, but Mountain View firm is expected to line up after a halftone announcement, to put it mildly, from Bard, its AI-enhanced assistant targeting ChatGPT competition.

Therefore, the annual conference dedicated to Google developers will be held on May 10th. The giant announced the date just recently, after users quickly solved a little mystery shared by the company. As with last year’s conference, I/O 2023 will be held in front of a “limited audience”at the historic Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. After the pandemic, Google did not hold conferences that anyone could attend. In 2020, it was simply canceled, like most other physical events that were supposed to take place this year. A year later, the American giant hosted an event on its Mountain View campus with an audience limited to or nearly made up of its employees.
Artificial intelligence should be a big part of it
The good news today is that Google should be live streaming this event. I/O 2023 will kick off with a keynote from CEO Sundar Pichai, followed by keynotes from developers. Everything will be available on YouTube and on the I/O website. And, perhaps more importantly than in previous years, the company is playing a rather large role in this conference. Undoubtedly, there will also be something to say. Google should be reserving a big space to showcase its advances in artificial intelligence, and for good reason. Bard’s recent announcement didn’t go as expected as incorrect answers were given to users of the James Webb Space Telescope. Google needs to be shown that it will not be left behind by competitors like OpenAI.
