The Google Pixel 6 Pro is now available in India via Amazon, but is it worth buying?

Last year, Google launched the Pixel 6 series in the US and some other countries. The company has released two new smartphones: Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The official launch of the Pixel 7 series that Google unveiled at I/O 2022 is still a few months away. While we wait, Pixel fans who want to get their hands on Google’s current flagship smartphone are in a bit of luck.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are currently available for purchase on Amazon. Google has not officially launched the devices in India. However, those who wish can get their hands on the current flagship Pixel smartphones.

Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro available on Amazon in India

The Pixel 6 Pro price in India on Amazon is currently set at Rs 71,700 for the base 12GB + 128GB model. There is a 256GB option, but it is prohibitively expensive at Rs 99,650. It is available in two colors – Stormy Black and Sorta Sunny.

On the other hand, the Pixel 6 can be bought on Amazon for just Rs 44,444. For the price, users get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

However, it should be noted that both of these devices are not officially available in India. Since Google has not officially launched the devices, it is unlikely that they will offer aftermarket services in India. What’s more, in the sub-Rs 50,000 price segment, there are plenty of options that offer flagship-level hardware. You have phones such as OnePlus 9RT, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Vivo X70 Pro, Vivo X80, iQOO 9, etc. These phones also work quite well and can be provided for on-site service and repair if needed.

If you want the Google Pixel experience, the company has confirmed that it will launch the Pixel 6A 5G in India later this year. No launch date has been announced yet, but the launch of the Pixel 6A 5G in India is imminent as the phone is expected to launch in July 2022.
