The Oculus Quest 2 has been a pretty standout tech and has become the go-to VR tool for many around the world, and it looks like it will be home to GTA San Andreas pretty soon. During the rather monumental Connect last night, it was announced that GTA San Andreas in VR will be released on Oculus Quest 2.

The Rockstar Games classic was and still is a hugely popular game enjoyed by players all over the world and it will be a true VR experience. It was confirmed in a blog post that players will be able to see Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas in all their glory. There is currently not much information about the VR version of GTA San Andreas, but hopefully we will get some footage or details about it soon.

GTA San Andreas in VR comes to Oculus Quest 2

It was very significant when Rockstar added first-person mode to GTA V, as it added a bit of a visceral element to the game and made the action even more enjoyable. So one can only imagine how intense and possibly traumatic the action in VR will be. GTA San Andreas is one of the most loved games in gaming history and is likely to boost Oculus Quest 2 sales significantly.

The Definitive Edition releases November 11, 2021.

Connect 2021 also announced several other exciting projects planned for Oculus Quest 2, such as new artist packs for Beat Saber, Blade & Sorcery: Nomad, and Population: One. It looks like the future of the Oculus Quest 2 seems pretty bright, and it will likely continue its reign as the leader when it comes to VR technology.

No release date has been announced for GTA San Andreas in VR, but the same blog post hinted that the game has been in the oven for some time now.
