The Misaka package manager, now famous for its hosting of add-ons pertaining to the MacDirtyCow & kfd exploits, has received another couple of updates on Friday that may interest users.

The first update, dubbed version 3.1.0, appears to incorporate the following changes:
For users:
– Js tweak no longer performs a restore when opening the settings screen
– Screenshot UI
– Loading animation
– Fixed some reporting bugsFor developers:
– Fixed an issue where the sha256 value was incorrect (if you want to release it in the repository, please copy it and send it to the Discord admin).
Misaka v3.1.0 is a public beta release, but it’s worth noting that the developer also pushed what’s called a pre-release for Misaka v3.1.1 with the following changes:
– Kfd stabilization
– Kfd passcode theme bug fixes
– Supports importing zip icon packs from Havoc
– UI fixes
While installing Misaka v3.1.0 is recommended for all users, we do advise holding off on Misaka v3.1.1 until it is no longer a pre-release.

While Misaka hosts packages intended for both the MacDirtyCow exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 and the kfd exploit for iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.6 beta 1, it’s worth noting that the app’s new PiP feature lets even iOS & iPadOS 17 users install some add-ons, no jailbreak required in any case.
