Motorola is getting ready to launch its next flagship device. According to rumors, the smartphone will arrive in international markets as Moto Edge 30 Ultra. The Lenovo-owned company may be the first to launch a phone in China as part of the Moto Edge X series. The company has begun hinting at an upcoming flagship that will be called the Moto Edge X30. Lenovo China Mobile General Manager Chen Jin posted a new teaser on Weibo, hinting at the launch of a “new phone”. Let’s take a look at the Moto Edge X30 specs, specs and other leaked details.

The release date for the Moto Edge X30 remains unknown. Teasers from official executives suggest that Motorola’s flagship launch is imminent. This could very well be the first smartphone to be launched with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is the successor to the Snapdragon 888.
Jin’s Weibo post confirms that the new phone he mentioned is the Moto Edge X30. Motorola has previously teased that the Edge X series will be powered by the new Snapdragon flagship processor. So it’s safe to say that the device could be launched very soon, with confirmation perhaps at the Snapdragon summit on November 30th.
GM has also confirmed some key features of the device. It will have a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back. According to Jin, it has a “powerful core”that provides “excellent performance”. In addition to this, Lenovo China GM has also confirmed that the phone will run My UI 3.0 out of the box.
Other specifications of the device have leaked into the past. It is said to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The front camera of the phone is said to contain a 60-megapixel camera sensor inside the hole-punch hole. On the back, there will be a triple camera setup with two 50MP sensors and a 2MP tertiary lens. The device will likely ship with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage in China. Also inside the phone is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
