The latest update to Google Calendar promises to reduce appointments and appointments. On Friday, Google announced that users will soon be able to create a “booking page”user interface that they can send to anyone. You specify the periods in which you are ready to hold a meeting, and the other user will be able to choose the time.
Workspace users will soon be able to select “Meeting Schedule”using the “Create”appointment button. This will launch a user interface that you can use to create the meeting’s web page. Workspace users highlight the time they would like to have a meeting, then enter the duration and location of the meeting (or Google Meet room), and add a title and description.
Once everything is filled in, Calendar will create a “booking page”website hosted by Google, and the creator can send the URL to someone else. The other person can then easily select the time and add the appointment to the calendar. A similar timeslot feature was previously available if both users were in the same Workspace organization, but now you can show this timeslot UI to anyone you want, even users without a Google account.
The creator of the booking page must be using a version of Google Workspace that is at least Business Standard. The lower level “Business Starter”is still paid, but it does not give you access to such fancy new features. This feature should be available to everyone by April 9th. Once you have it, simply download the web version of Google Calendar, click the “Create”button, and select “Meeting Schedule”.
