OPPO Reno 7 Series will come with a new Sony IMX709 Cat-Eye lens and a unique warning light

The Oppo Reno 7 series will launch on November 25 in China. The Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro and Reno 7 SE pricing information was leaked ahead of launch along with the full specifications of the Reno 7 SE and Reno 7 Pro. The latest leak before launch gives us more details about the Reno 7 series camera. Let’s take a closer look at the features of the Reno 7 series camera.

According to a Gizmochina report, the Oppo Reno 7 series will be the first phone in the world to feature the Sony IMX709 cat-eye lens, and it is expected to be the Reno 7 and Reno 7 Pro selfie cameras. The report goes on to say that Oppo said the Sony IMX709, along with its proprietary RGBW imaging technology, can capture images with a 60% increase in light sensitivity, as well as reduce noise by 35%.

According to recent leaks, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro flagship phone is expected to feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera on the front. In addition, the Reno 7 series will also make full use of the camera bump on the back. Twitter Abhishek Yadav revealed that the Oppo Reno 7 series will have a unique LED light around the camera bump, which will likely act as a notification LED or could also be a useful charging indicator.

As for other specs, the Reno 7 Pro is said to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC and will also come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is said to feature a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main sensor, an 8MP super wide Sony IMX 355 sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. In terms of pricing, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro will start at 4299 Yuan for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
