Krafton has released PUBG New State for players from many countries around the world. The sequel to PUBG Mobile is set in the year 2051 and features improved graphics and gameplay. The New State version is currently only available for download on Android devices running Android 6.0 or later. iOS devices will have to wait at least a day as the Apple App Store listing has an expected availability date of November 12th. Meanwhile, Android smartphone users who have managed to download PUBG New State have reported several issues with the game. Krafton also acknowledged many of the problems and listed ways to solve some of them.
“We are aware of the issues that some Survivors are currently experiencing in PUBG New State. We are working to resolve the issues and we apologize for any inconvenience,” Krafton said. The most noticeable problems occur during the game. Let’s take a look at the known issues acknowledged by Krafton in PUBG New State.
PUBG New State Issues
- Krafton has acknowledged an issue where incorrect ping information is displayed after creating an account.
- Players may also experience flickering or abnormal colors in the game from time to time.
- Players may not hear the reload sound and movement when reloading. This issue occurs when the restart button is pressed all the time.
- Another issue that has been noticed is the number of items, which is displayed as zero (0) when getting a stack of items.
- PUBG New State players may also experience an issue where the Follow feature will not work, although it appears to apply when re-entering a match.
- There is also a bug that does not set fire to the interior of the tram when Molotovs are thrown inside.
- Krafton also addressed an issue where players could receive a dropped weapon instead of a preset weapon if it was dropped at a spawn point on the station map. Some objects may appear abnormally on the station map.
There are also problems with the game settings. For example:
- An issue that causes the sensitivity to work differently than the set value.
- Another problem is that some buttons in the control settings cannot be selected after using the trunk button.
- Players may also be unable to use the chat system if they re-enter the game after it has been running in the background for more than a minute.
- There is also an issue where map selection settings are reset if a new party leader appears.
- While spectating a squad member, an abnormal crosshair display may be displayed. Players may also notice that the ID does not change even when they are spectating another player.
- Although the game is not currently available for download on iOS devices, Krafton has highlighted several issues. For example, players may sometimes notice location names flickering on the world map. Another issue identified on iOS devices where the lift/chest/loot box buttons can be forced to move on the x-axis when the bag is opened.
How to fix these problems?
Krafton has listed fixes for several of the issues it has found so far. Most of these issues can be resolved by restarting the game.
In the event of a bug where players see incorrect ping information, it is possible to restart the app and re-select a server by going to Settings > General > Connection > Select Server.
Those who see random flickering or abnormal colors in the game may experience this due to an older version of the Android OS on their device. Krafton suggests restarting the game after installing the latest Android update on your smartphone. If the issue persists, change the settings to “Open GL”by going to Settings > Graphics > Graphics API > Open GL.
To fix the sensitivity issue, go to the Sensitivity Settings tab and set it to Low, Medium, or High.
