After video games and movies, Uncharted attacks amusement parks

The arrival of Uncharted in PortAventura World marks the history of Sony. It is the first licensed PlayStation theme park, although the Ice Blast attraction at Britain’s Blackpool Pleasure Beach was known as PlayStation: The Ride between 1997 and 2002.

The video game theme park’s most notable attraction right now is Super Nintendo World by Universal Studios Japan from Nintendo, Sony’s historical rival. Universal Studios has confirmed that the second Super Nintendo World, to be built at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California, will open in early 2023 and will include a Mario Kart-based attraction.
