Korean tech giant Samsung has quietly unveiled a new Galaxy A series phone, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G. The latest Galaxy A series phone is the cheapest 5G Galaxy phone to date. The phone is powered by a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity processor and a large battery. The Galaxy A13 5G comes with a 50MP camera and a 90Hz refresh rate display. The smartphone costs $249.99 in the US and will be available from December 3, that is, from tomorrow.

The latest Galaxy A series phone features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel has a watermark that the company calls the Infinity-V display.
The phone uses an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC built on a 7nm process. It is equipped with an integrated Mali G57 GPU that handles graphics-related tasks. It holds 64GB of storage, which can be expanded using the micro-SD card slot. The phone uses the company’s proprietary OneUI interface based on Android 11.
Speaking of cameras, the phone offers a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash. The main 50MP sensor on the phone is accompanied by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has a 5000mAh battery and 15W fast charging. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner (built into the power button), a 3.5mm audio jack, and Samsung Pay (with NFC support).
