Leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE have been popping up online over the past few months. The phone is expected to be released next month i.e. January 2022. As part of a new development, the full specs of the upcoming phone have now been leaked, courtesy of Sammobiles. Let’s see what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition has in store for Samsung Galaxy fans.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE leaked specifications

The upcoming S series phones will offer a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The display panel will make room for the selfie photographer inside the centered notch. We can expect the phone to feature an optical fingerprint scanner.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. However, like every other Galaxy S phone, the company will use its own Exynos counterpart, the Exynos 2100, in some regions. The device has already been spotted on Geekbench several times with 6GB and 8GB random access memory. Users will have the option to choose between 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The Sammobiles report suggests that the storage will not expand as the company decided to skip the micro-SD card slot.

The upcoming Galaxy S21 FE will offer a triple rear camera and LED flash. The main shooter in the phone will be a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture. It will be accompanied by a 12MP super wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The phone will also have an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is also said to feature a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calls.

Previous leaks have suggested that the device may come with a 4,370mAh battery. A Sammobiles report says the phone will come with 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The device will boot Android 12 out of the box and will support three major Android updates so it can be upgraded to Android 15. It will also have an IP68 water resistance rating. While the report does not list a price for the phone, there are speculations that it will cost around $699 for the base variant. What do you think of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE?
