Realme is ready to release Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ on February 15 in global markets. Apart from these devices, the Realme 9 series will also consist of the Realme 9 5G phone. Realme 9 5G was spotted on the FCC certification website a couple of weeks ago and was also recently spotted at NEMKO certification. Now, in a new development, the key specs of the upcoming Realme 9 5G have been revealed by leaker Yogesh Brar.
Realme 9 5G Specifications and Features
The Realme 9 5G is said to feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. At the heart of the phone will be an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor built on a 6-nanometer process technology and equipped with an integrated Mali G57 GPU. This is the same processor used in several other mid-range phones such as Redmi Note 11T 5G, POCO M4 Pro 5G and Realme 8s 5G.
The Realme 9 5G will offer a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP main camera. The high-resolution sensor on the smartphone will be accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, a 16-megapixel camera is said to be on offer. The phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 18W fast charging. It will come pre-installed with Android 12, but as usual, the Realme UI 3.0 skin will be on top.
The phone will offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a stereo speaker setup. It will be available in two memory options – 6 GB and 8 GB. In terms of memory, users will have the option to choose between 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage.
Realme has yet to announce a launch date for the Realme 9 5G. However, we shouldn’t be surprised if the company introduces it alongside Realme 9 Pro series devices next week.
