Microsoft no longer produces Xbox One as of late 2020

All hardware and hardware components refurbished by US publisher Microsoft are for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.

If Microsoft officially ended production of the Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition prior to the launch of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, the Redmond-based firm then quietly ended production of the Xbox One S towards the end of 2020, allowing many resellers to run out:”In order to focus on XSX/XSS production, we have discontinued production of all Xbox One consoles.” Given the failure against Sony, the eighth generation of consoles is already behind the American giant, which is thinking first of all about the future with Xbox Cloud Gaming/Xbox Game Streaming and Xbox Game Pass.

Sony will release PS4 for a few more months

Although PS4 production is no longer expected by the end of 2021, Japanese giant Sony has rescheduled its plans due to the semiconductor crisis, which is once again hampering the distribution of PS5 stock around the world. To keep losses from becoming a problem in the company’s next financial statement, at least one million consoles will be released within a year: “This is one of the best-selling consoles of all time, and there is always a crossover between generations.»

Note that 2022 will also be Sony’s last year to cross-gen with Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7 and God of War Ragnarök, although several PS5 exclusives have already been reserved for the Japanese firm’s new machine.
