Last night at Google IO 2022 Keynote, Google made some surprise announcements and also introduced the Pixel 6a smartphone. The search engine giant has announced the Pixel Buds Pro true wireless headphones that were announced a few days ago.
In addition, the company also showed off the upcoming Google Pixel smartwatch and Google Pixel tablet. The Pixel Buds Pro will be available from July in the US, and the Pixel Watch will be released later this year along with the Pixel 7 series. The tablet, on the other hand, will be released in 2023. Google Pixel Buds Pro
The Pixel Buds Pro will be available in Coral, Fog, Charcoal, and Lemongrass color options, with pre-orders starting July 21 in the US market.
Google Pixel Watch
Google’s upcoming smartwatch will run Wear OS with smooth navigation and smart notifications. It also supports voice and comes with Google Assistant. The watch also supports Google Wallet, Google Maps apps, and the Google Home app for Wear OS to control smart home devices. Pixel Watch has deep integration with Fitbit, which will provide industry-leading health and fitness features. The watch will be equipped with a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking and active zone minutes.
The watch has a round dome with a crown button on the side. The wearable is made from recycled stainless steel material and also supports customizable straps.
Google Pixel Tablet
The final look at the event was Google’s all-new Pixel tablet. The next generation Android tablet will be released in 2023 and will be powered by the Google Tensor SoC. It is said to be the perfect companion for the Pixel phone. The design of the tablet revealed that it will have a single rear camera and a front camera for selfies. More details about the tablet will be released later next year.
